Every place has a story. Ours began long before the first painting was hung or the first piece of clay was shaped.

For decades, this building was known as the Cornucopia Restaurant, a beloved gathering place where neighbors, families, and travelers came together to celebrate milestones, share meals, and create lasting memories. Though the restaurant eventually closed, its spirit remained deeply rooted in the community.

When we first stepped inside, we saw more than an old building. We saw a place filled with history, craftsmanship, and possibility. Rather than letting its story end, we imagined a new chapter—one where creativity could once again bring people together.

Over the next four years, we carefully restored and transformed the building with respect for its character and history. Every room was thoughtfully reimagined, preserving the warmth of the original space while creating inspiring studios for painting, ceramics, and sculpture. Today, natural light pours through our skylight studios, filling the building with the same welcoming energy that once made it a neighborhood landmark.

Cornucopia Art Center was created as more than a studio or gallery. It is a place to create, learn, explore, and connect. Through original artwork, hands-on classes, exhibitions, open studios, and community events, we hope to make art accessible to everyone—from experienced artists to first-time visitors.

While the building has found a new purpose, its heart remains the same. It continues to be a place where people gather, conversations begin, friendships grow, and new memories are made.
